Lead Designer
Cyberpunk Hackers
Technicus Heist is a 4-player board game of spiteful-sabotage. Each player competes to steal the Skeleton Key by moving around the board, hacking consoles, and playing cards that are rewarded for hacking. Currently the game is in early Beta.

Design Goals
In Technicus Heist, I really want to appeal to friend groups that enjoy the rivalry you’d expect in games like Mario Party while pushing for interaction and casual level strategy between players. I also want the players to fulfill the narrative role as rival hackers in the cyberpunk setting.

Design Approach
I like to take an organized approach to my design process. For Technicus Heist, this meant creating 3 seed GDDs that laid out base gameplay. Then using those as templates for multiple paper prototype runs.
Afterward, I created a Gameflow Diagram on Miro to visualize the gameplay flow better, and I upgraded to a singular GDD that functions as a living document. With more playtests and feedback, I update the GDD as needed.
The full GDD is available to view upon request.
